

Toni Young, an esteemed figure in the local real estate community, passed away on May 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy defined by her professionalism and dedication. Joining Hunt Real Estate 49 years ago in 1975, Toni quickly ascended to prominence, consistently ranking among the company's top performers as one of its longest-tenured associate brokers. She held the top sales position at Hunt Real Estate from 1990-1996. Her influence extended beyond sales achievements; she was a catalyst for positive change, enthusiastically advocating for progress within the organization.
Her steadfast commitment to her clients earned her prestigious accolades, including the Realtor Associate of the Year Award in 1997 from the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors.
Toni realized her life-long passion of guiding individuals to their dream homes, finding immense joy in the smiles she brought to their faces. She specialized in relocation services, assisting numerous out-of-towners in settling into the Amherst and Clarence area.
In her later years, Toni shifted her focus to nurturing relationships with her past clients and their referrals, continuing her legacy of exceptional service and commitment.
Beyond her distinguished career, Toni was a devoted family woman, cherished friend, and fervent supporter of the arts.
Born Antoinette Battaglia in 1938, Toni's journey began in Tonawanda, where she married Walter Brylinski in 1957 and raised 3 children. In 1977 she married George Young. She is survived by a loving family, including sons Michael and Mark Brylinski, daughter Debbie Reeb, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Her family was Toni’s first love. Real Estate was her lifelong passion.
Toni's impact reached beyond the real estate realm, as evidenced by her active involvement in various community organizations. She was a valued member of the Business & Professional Women's organization, NYS Women, Inc. of Buffalo Niagara, and served on the finance committee of St. Leo's Catholic Church. A dedicated Rotarian, Toni also played pivotal roles within the organization, embodying the Rotary Motto of "Service Above Self." Additionally, her passion for the arts led her to volunteer at the AKG Art Museum and at Buffalo Philharmonic concerts, where her warm smile and welcoming demeanor endeared her to all.
Toni Young's impact on both the real estate industry and the broader community will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
