Laura Bucher

Laura Anne Jones Bucher, 60, died Saturday October 12, 2013 at Martin General Hospital. The memorial service will be held Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Church of the Advent with Rev J. Robert Spainhour officiating.

Laura was born on July 4, 1953 in Afrigola Italy, daughter of Evelyn Jones and the late Henry Jones. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Church or the Advent. On June 25, 1977 she married Kenneth Bucher.

Survivors in addition to her husband are daughters Jennifer Bucher of Fork Union VA and Kristen B Caldwell of Waldorf MD, mother Evelyn Jones of Raeford, sisters Marcia J. Snow of Raeford, Mary Louise Murphy of Raeford, Pamela Hines of Goldsboro, and Debbie Anderson of Emerald Isle, brothers Robert Jones of Goldsboro, and Bryan Jones of Fuquay Varina, granddaughter Roslyn Laura Caldwell. She was preceded in death by a sister Diane Gantt.

The family will receive friends following the service at Church of the Advent in the Parish Hall.
