Joseph Alexander (Alex) Jones Jr.

Alex was born in Beaufort County to the late Joseph Alexander Jones, Sr. and Mary Rochelle Jones on October 11, 1938. He is survived by his wife bf 46 years, Gail Wobbleton Jones and two children Christopher Alan Jones of Williamston and Janet Jones Parham and husband Wade Parham of Williamston. He also had 5 beautiful granddaughters, Samantha Meagyn Jones, Hillary Logan Jones, Sydni Gail Parham, Kylie Taylor Jones and Avery Claire Parham all of Williamston. He was also survived by his sister Wanda J. Williams and husband Wendall Williams of Williamston.

He was employeed with North Carolina Highway Patrol for 25 years as a Telecommunicator. He was also a member at Macedonia Christian Church of Williamston.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Macedonia Christian Church, Hwy 17 S. in Williamston, NC from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

A Memorial service will be held at Macedonia Christian Church on June 3, 2010 at 3:00pm in the Family Life Center. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service.

The family suggests that memorials be directed to Macedonia Christian Church building fund at Hwy 17 S. Williamston, NC 27892.
