Donald Juan Meeks, Sr died Monday, July 2, 2012 at his home. The graveside service will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM at Skewarkee Cemetery with Rev Doug Knox officiating.
Donnie was born in Martin County on October 13, 1935 to the late Ira Juan and Allie Downs Meeks. He was a retired farmer and had served in the NC National Guard.
He married Frankie Bonds on January 5, 1957 who preceded him in death on January 2,
2000. A brother Kenneth Meeks also preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son Donald Juan Meeks Jr of Williamston, brother Johnny E Meeks of Bear Grass, sisters Katherine M Whitaker of Williamston and Jean Stalls of Bethel and 2 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence 3403 Wildcat Road Williamston NC
