Born February 5, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan the son of George and Gwendolyn Curtis, passed away on May 7, 2011 at the age of 70 after a courageous struggle with a rare disease, Myasthenia Gravis. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith, siblings: George (Jessie), Jerry (Kathy), John (Sheila) Curtis and Rita Furlong; half-sisters: Ellen (Mac) McCann and Darlene (Ron) Feasel; In-laws: Mike (Pat) Sylvester, Donald Sylvester, Millie Crisp, Donna (Bubba) Harrell and Denise Weatherly and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill owned and operated the Honey Bear Bakery and volunteered his time and efforts to several organizations. He was a good friend who made friends easily and loved helping others. He also had a great love for motorcycles. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12-3 & 5-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 Middle Street, Williamston. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1 pm at the West Locke Wesleyan Church, 2652 Haslett Rd., Williamston, with Reverend Michael A. Black officiating.
