Age 30, died November 18, 2010; born June 23, 1980 in Lansing, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Dexter. Surviving are his parents, Gregg and Valerie Dexter; 2 sisters, Nicole (James) Mulholland and Kyle Dexter; grandparents, Agnes Dexter and Donald (Jane) Lawther; nephew, James. Matthew worked full-time at the family business, Brookfield Shell in East Lansing. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 23, 11:00 AM at St. Martha Parish, 1100 W. Grand River, Okemos with Rev. Jonathan Wehrle, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle Street, Williamston Monday from 5-9 PM and Tuesday at the Church 1 hour prior to the service. The Rosary will be Monday at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Williamston Food Bank or Volunteers of America, 430 N. Larch, Lansing, MI 48912 in memory of Matthew.
