Marlene embarked on a journey of love when she married Maynard V Webb on May 14, 1955. Together, they shared a lifetime of joy and companionship until Maynard's passing. Marlene's early education at Cass Tech High School shaped her artistic spirit, leading her to become a talented vocalist and harpist. Her musical prowess extended to the piano, which she began playing at the tender age of 4.
Marlene's professional journey included roles as a secretary for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, a legal secretary in Howell, a school secretary at Fowlerville High School and a Chem-lab secretary at Chem-Trend in Howell. Her dedication and skills made a lasting impact in each role.
A woman of diverse talents, Marlene was a proud member of the Eastern Star and served as a past worthy matron, leaving an indelible mark on her community. Known for her spicy and vibrant personality, Marlene lived life to the fullest and was a constant source of smiles for those around her.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Maynard, her son Glenn Allen, grandson Cody David Moore, and sister Arlene Brabeau. Marlene's legacy is one of kindness, devotion, and a radiant smile that lit up the lives of everyone she encountered.
She is survived by her loving children Vicki (Kurt) Mohrmann, Valerie (Richard) Brondsema, and Kate (Tim) Tersigni. Her memory lives on in her grandchildren Corinne, Eirik, Jessica, Alycia, Marlow, Glenn, Stefan, Abigail, Harrison, and Parker, as well as her great-grandchildren Caleb, Bethany, Eirik, Brooklyn, Lachlan, Olive, Waylen, and Thorsten, and great-great-grandchild Helena "Ellie."
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 16, 2023, at Fowlerville First United Methodist Church, 201 S 2nd St., Fowlerville, MI 48836. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 12:30 PM. A luncheon will be held in honor of Marlene, offering friends and family an opportunity to share memories and support one another during this time of remembrance.
