John Charles Marcus

John Charles Marcus, age 77, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Surviving are his son, Stephan Marcus; grandchildren, Julianne, Krystal (Brad), Andy, Holly (Nick), and Kyre; great-grandchildren, K.C., Ruby, Jude, Samuel, Abigail, Rowan, and Brynlee; siblings, Barb, Charlene, Sharon, Harry, and Shelly; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Marcus; daughter, Susan (Todd) Hottois; sister, Bonnie and brother, Myrl.

John was the kindest, most caring man who took care of everyone. He was a collector of virtually all novelties, especially toys. He was truly a kid at heart. It was clear John had a love for cars as he had nearly 200 collectible toy cars, owned 20 different cars in his lifetime and even retired from General Motors at a young age of 48. He was an enthusiastic Michigan State University fan, and you would rarely catch him wearing anything other than green and white. John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for John will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home 205 E Middle St. Williamston, MI 48895.
