James William Collier

James William Collier of Lansing, MI, passed away Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at the age of 89. James was born on July 23, 1935 in Owosso, MI. James was a hardworking devoted husband and father. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing with his children and grandchildren. James and his wife enjoyed traveling, taking many cruises, trips in their RV with their family, and to Vegas.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Miller, sister in-law, Davena Rundell, sister in-law Janet Collier, 8 children, Ramona Schneider, Janet Collier, James (Paula) Collier, Mary (Charles) Bannerman, John (Kathleen) Collier, Ronald Collier, Jeffrey Collier, and Charles Collier, 28 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his late wife Juanita Collier, parents Earl and Thelma Collier, brother's Robert and Lester Collier, brother in-law Larry Rundell, sister in-law Emma Jean Berry, and granddaughter Debbie Collier.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Gorsline-Runciman Williamston Chapel located at 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, MI 48895. An entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 2400 Bennett Rd, Meridian Charter Township, MI 48864 where a brief committal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James' honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
