Glenn Allen Ward, 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Glenn worked for the State of Michigan with the Liquor Control Commission for many years, retiring in 1994. In retirement he was free to pursue his passion as a true outdoorsman: Glenn loved being outside and was a skilled hunter in all seasons. On the rare occasion he wasn't hunting, Glenn loved good movies and good television, especially mystery shows like Sherlock Holmes, Law and Order, and Masterpiece Theatre.
He was preceded in death by his parents Russel and Dorthea, and his daughter, Nicole Ward.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Steven Ward and Matthew Ward; his daughters-in-law Chenney and Jennifer Ward, his grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, Lauren, Sebastian, and Ronan; his brother, Larry Ward, and his sister-in-law Kathy Ward.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 1pm at Summit Cemetery in Williamston. A memorial gathering to celebrate Glenn's life will be held in the future.
In honor of Glenn, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, P.O. Box 16224 Lansing, MI 48901.
