He was born February 6, 1964 to David and Cora Sue Gregg. He was married on June 22, 1985 to Wendy (Shand) and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Melissa (Matthew) Baugh, Matthew (Meaghan) Gregg, Stephen Gregg and Aimee (Wes) Marks, and one grandchild, Trevor Marks. He is also survived by siblings: Darlene (Jeff) Larner-Mrochek, Deborah Gregg, Daniel (Holly) Gregg, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
David graduated from Williamston in 1982. He attended and served as a pastor at First Baptist Church for many years before pastoring at several other local churches.
David worked in several positions at Williamston Community schools. Most recently he enjoyed working as an instructional aide in the RTC room at the middle school.
David was an avid hunter and member of the NRA. He enjoyed watching University of Michigan sports teams and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 22nd at the Bandshell in McCormick Park, Williamston. Visitation will be held at 10 am with the service starting at 11 am. To accommodate social distancing and inclement weather, we will have a large tent set up with seating. If you wish to further social distance, you are welcome to bring your own chairs to set up around the park. Casual attire. Please wear face masks so that everyone can pay their respects without concern for safety.
