Brian C. Lockwood, 73, of Williamston, Michigan, passed away on February 29, 2024, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born on December 27, 1950, in Lansing. Brian was a caring, generous, and compassionate individual who was known for his faithfulness and love for jokes and joking around.
Brian proudly served in the Army and later dedicated 32 years of his life working with the United States Postal Service before retiring. He was a graduate of Williamston High School, class of 1969, and earned a bachelor's degree in Management of Human Resources from Spring Arbor University.
He worshiped at the Williamston Free Methodist Church, where he served as an usher for many years, ensuring to greet everyone with a handshake. In his free time, Brian frequented Ellie’s Country Kitchen for a daily meal, making Christmas cookies for his neighbors and friends, and took great pride in being a loving grandfather.
Brian Lockwood is survived by his children Crystal (Lockwood) Mischke and her husband Kenneth Mischke of Doolittle, MO, Justin Lockwood of Williamston, Michigan, grandchildren Nathanial Bisard, Trenton Mischke, Silas Mischke, and Connie Mischke, as well as his sister-in-law Karen Lockwood of Williamston, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents Coral Ernert Lockwood and Delores Joan (Albright) Lockwood, brother Bradley Lockwood, and his beloved wife Sally Ann Lockwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 296 of Williamston, Michigan or to the Lockwood family to help cover final expenses.
