Tracy Christopher Abel

Tracy graduated from Osbourn Park High School in 1982 and went on to work in Public Works for the City of Manassas and the City of Manassas Park. He had a passion for collecting sports memorabilia, antiquing and cooking. He enjoyed listening to classic country music, 70’s classics and classical, among others.

Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Osie Newman Abel Jr. He is survived by his mother, Betty Abel; sisters, Terry Shenfish (Jimmy) and Tina Grifana (Philip); as well as nieces and nephews, Jaimie Lester (Nicholas), Tiffany Grifana Richardson (Craig), Christin Shenfish, Stacy Moore (Ryan), and Michael Shenfish; along with great-nephews and great-nieces, Ryan Lester, Lilyanna Mayle, Carson Waltrip, Chelsea Lester, Logan Mayle, Hollee Lester, Langdon Richardson, and Case Moore.

Tracy had a big heart and was loved by many. He cherished his family and had a strong faith in the Lord. His life will be celebrated at Nelsen’s Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Virginia with a visitation on Monday at 3:00pm and a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Stafford Memorial Park on Thursday, March 28 at 11:00 AM.
