Ronald Dean Utterback

Ronald Dean Utterback was received by the Lord on December 1, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed at his home in Spring Grove, VA surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on November 26, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William and Lola Utterback.

He is survived by his three children, James Utterback, Robin Garrington and Jennifer Helterbran; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tessie Cook Utterback; his parents; four brothers; and one sister.

Ronald demonstrated great patriotism by pursuing a naval career and upon his retirement, he spent his remaining days raising cattle. He will be remembered as a loving father, a dedicated friend and a true blessing to all who knew him.
