He continued in nuclear training at Dominion's headquarters in Richmond before his 1992 retirement after 14 years with the company.
Roger was a founding member of the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists Church, holding many leadership roles during his 34 years of service. He was also an active volunteer with the Williamsburg Chapter and Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Red Cross.
Both Roger and Beverly shared a love of singing (barbershop and choral), travelling to visit extended family and Star Island, and spending time with immediate family. Roger was also an avid stamp collector and model train enthusiast.
