A native of Gloucester, VA, Bob was born April 20, 1955 to Mary O. Rowe and Edward L. Rowe, who along with his brother Edward L. Rowe, Jr. preceded him in death. Bob graduated from Gloucester High School, was a certified Machine Tool Operator and worked for Colonial Williamsburg as a Blacksmith for 38 years. His beautiful ironwork graces the historic area as well as the homes of loved ones. He enjoyed hiking and fishing, and had a passion for history and spending time with his family. Bob was a devoted husband and father, and a good friend to many.
Bob is survived by Patricia Vandermark-Rowe, his wife of 32 years and his children Andrea L. Rowe of Chester Springs, PA., and Benjamin R. Rowe of Richmond, VA.
A service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 11:30am at the Wren Chapel of the College of William and Mary. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg.
