Rebecca Skinner

Rebecca Denise Skinner, 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta where she majored in fashion merchandizing. She continued her passion for art by creating stained glass pieces and pottery. She was born in Norfolk and was a lifelong resident of Toano. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Dale B. Skinner, who passed on September 7, 2013. She is survived by her mother Reinhilde Skinner, and 4 sisters, Annette Dunlap and her husband, William; Andrea Cordle; Yvonne Klich and her husband, John; and Bonnie Ruscoe. She was a loving aunt and will always be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Cameron and Morgan Cordle; Collin, Brianna and Clayton Klich; and Tyler Ruscoe.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m., at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 7801 Church Ln,Toano.
