On Saturday, August 5, 2017, this world lost an incredibly strong and beautiful woman, Pauline Mae Huffman, 87, passed away peacefully at Hospice House and Support Care shortly after moving to Williamsburg, Virginia from Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born in Shinnston, West Virginia, along with her twin brother Paul, to the late David L. VanMeter and Viola Parsons VanMeter. Pauline will be remembered as a loving, nurturing mother and incredible cook for her family. She is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband Charles M. Huffman, Jr., son-in-law Willie Hayhurst, and granddaughter Becki Hayhurst.
Left to cherish her memory are her 5 children, Vicki Hayhurst, Linda Harris and Jim, Michael Huffman and Pam, Diana Zelenak and Steven, and Suzanne Stuart; and former son-in-law Art Stuart; 12 grandchildren; Leigh Ann and Jeff Goodnight, James and Traci Harris, Amy and Brandon Takacs, Lisa and Larry Morgan, Angie and Greg Scott, Amanda and Tyler Reid, Cassandra and BJ Ralphsnyder, Sarah and Kaleb Eakle , Adam Stuart, Andrew and Sheldon Stuart, Melissa and Justin Hockaday; 20 great grandchildren; Emily Francis, Mary Francis, Erik Hayhurst, Olivia Goodnight, Cole Harris and Hope Harris, Sydney Takacs and Marissa Takacs, Katie Morgan, Max Morgan and Amelia Morgan, Taylor Scott, Lydia Reid and Waylon Reid, Poppy Ralphsnyder and Sloane Ralphsnyder, Easton Eakle and Emma Eakle, Jaxon Hockaday and Sofia Hockaday; 3 great great grandchildren; Aiden Borelli and Tanner Borelli, Alli Parker.
