Paul B. Stone

As a minister’s son, Paul’s direction in life led him to Gordon College and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Following his education, he eventually moved to Germany where he immersed himself in the language by attending Goethe Institute to further his skills. He worked in an all-German speaking environment.

With a love for international travel, his work with large corporations allowed him to work overseas and travel to 30+ countries. Years later, he returned to Germany to work, with his wife accompanying him. Paul’s son was born in Germany and also speaks German.

In Massachusetts for most of his life, Paul enjoyed living in a coastal community with easy access to beaches, great seafood, and any easy commute to Boston/Cambridge where he finished his career at Harvard University as a Financial Auditor. Locally, He was a member of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.

Paul is likely to be remembered for his love of family, babies, and for his exceptional sense of humor.

Paul is survived by his spouse, Brenda Stone and son, Leighton Stone. He will also be missed by three caring and loving siblings, Sandra, Shelley, and Sherri; and their spouses, children, and great-nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
