She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Clancy Sr.; daughter, Lori Albert Stone; mother-in-law, Julie Ann Albert; and father-in-law, Charles M. Albert.
Patricia will be missed by her husband, Kenneth Albert; son, Michael Albert (Mary); son-in-law, Lloyd Stone; grandchildren, Maggie Albert, Samuel Albert, Jimmy Erskine, and Jacquelyn Mehling; her mother, Frances Clancy; brothers, Kevin Clancy (Sue), Dr. Matt Clancy (Lucy), Tom Clancy (Ellen), and Patrick Clancy (Terrie); sister, Julia Clancy; and brother-in-law, Dave Albert.
As one of the five first female steamfitter apprentices in Pittsburgh, PA, Patricia received her associate degree in Construction in 1979. She was incredibly detail-oriented when it came to understanding engineering specifications, and later helmed her own business, Precision Industries Inc. Patricia was a retired member of Steamfitters Local Union #449.
After moving to Williamsburg, Patricia continued her education through several ancillary courses at the College of William & Mary.
Adept at cooking for large holiday meals, Patricia also enjoyed baking Irish breads with her mother and cookies with her granddaughter, Maggie. She also enjoyed sewing, arts, and crafts.
Visitation will take place from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Wednesday, May 24. A second time of visitation will be held in Pittsburgh on Friday, May 26 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Edward Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh, PA.
Services will take place at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 27 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 509 S. Dallas Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave., Pittsburgh.
Memorial contributions in Patricia’s honor may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Shriners Children’s Hospital, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
