Mary DeTura Andrews

She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Howard Mann and Harvey P. Andrews; brother, Frank DeTura; and parents Nicholas and Gertrude DeTura.

Mary was employed by the U. S. Army Quartermaster Corp during World War II; she was also an active member of the Catholic Daughters. Later she became a dedicated administration assistant for the Williamsburg/JCC C.A.A. Head Start Program. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her children, William Howard Mann Jr. (Elizabeth), Michael DeTura Mann (Suzanne), Patricia Gae Mann-Taylor (William), Mary Frances Studinski; 9 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be held Sunday, July 31st from 6pm to 8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home. The service will be held Monday, August 1st at 11am at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Mary’s memory be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188 (www.williamsburghospice.org/donations/).
