He was born in Osborne, Kansas on September 24, 1924. Graduated from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation, he pursued the practice of Veterinary Medicine in Nebraska and Virginia. This included military service in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corp during WWII, and the Korean Wars. A total of 42 years were involved in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
He was a member of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Taylor married Alice Beardsley, who preceded him in death in 1996. They enjoyed 50 years of married life.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Langner, and Marilyn Richardson, both living in Kansas City. Three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
