He was preceded in death by his father, Ted S. Hill, mother, Mary Anderson Hill, and sister, Dorothy Hill Dodson.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army and was a Richmond Police Officer. He also worked for Cheatham Annex and after retirement, he worked at the Chickahominy Bridge as a supervisor.
Kenneth was a member of the Methodist Church in Bloomington, Nebraska and he attended James River Baptist Church. He enjoyed history, camping, fishing, hunting, traveling and gardening. He loved his children and grandchildren and he also had a special affinity for animals including his many dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Thompson Hill; his sons, Michael Hill (Julianne May) and Glen Hill (Bridgit); daughters, Terry Banez and Teddie Dempsey (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Skylar, Cayla and Noah Dempsey; Thompson, Trevor and Katie Banez; and Zachery and Maddie Hill.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, November 15 from 1-2pm at James River Baptist Church, 4931 Centerville Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188, followed by a service at 2pm. Interment will follow after the service.
