Gary Alan Engel Sr.

He was born in New Jersey on October 29, 1954, and graduated from the Burlington Township High School in 1972. This year marked 50 years in the steel business for him and 26 of those years owning his own steel business.

A huge fan of Philly sports, he supported any Philadelphia team he could. He enjoyed golfing, boating, playing darts, and shuffleboard. If Gary was not hanging with his buddies, he was relaxing in his recliner.

Spending time with family and his seven grandchildren at the river was one of his greatest joys.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lynn Engel; son, Gary Engel Jr. (Susan); daughters, Lisa Gonteski (Jim), Heather Polsinelli (Michael), and Ashley Rogers (Aaron); grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Colton, Brinley, Easton, Piper, and Tillie; siblings, Debra Sharp, Robert Engel, Darlene Engel, and Jane Brown; and his stepmom, Barbara Engel.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
