Elaine Ricci Smith

Elaine spent much of her early professional life as a licensed pathologist working at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As her family grew, life brought her to Massachusetts, New York, and ultimately, Virginia. She was the former president of CMK Enterprises. She was a long-time member of the Women’s Club and Colonial Italian American Organization (CIAO) where she was the Co-Chair of CIAO’s Aid and Comfort Committee. Elaine volunteered at the Food Pantry at St. Olaf Catholic Church where she was a member. She loved to cook, travel, and spend time with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Smith Lewis (Michael Lewis), her two sons, Michael Smith (Jeanne Wong Smith) and Kevin Smith (Kelly Fowler) and her grand-daughters, Alexandra Lewis, Sarah Smith, Elanagh Smith, Aurora Smith, Eleanor Lewis and Calliope Smith. Also surviving her are her brother Raymond Ricci (Kathy Ricci), her sister-in-law, Dorrine Meili (Charles Meili) and the extended Ricci/DiRita family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 12, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Ln, Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Pkwy, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
