Donna Mae Seymour

Donna Hecox Seymour, 92, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away at her home on November 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Thane Hecox and her brothers, Thane Jr. and William. She is survived by her husband, John M. Seymour; her sister, Joyce Flowers; her sister-in-law, Susie Goodyear; four children, Marla Seymour, John Craig (Sherri) Seymour, William Brent (Marlin) Seymour, and Marcia (Jack) Horst; seven grandchildren, Duncan Horst, Stephanie Seymour, Dr. Kyle (Jon) Reynolds, Drew (Gary) Adkins, Jacqueline (Justin) Johnson, Tanner Horst, and William (Emma) Seymour; and, eight great-grandchildren. Donna was a native of central Ohio. She graduated as valedictorian from Groveport High School where she was active in the Girls Athletic Association, Dance Band, and the Drama and Speech Clubs. After her marriage, Donna was a resident of multiple states including Colorado, California, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia as she and her family traveled with John in his career with the US Forest Service as an educator. Donna retired from the US Civil Service and moved to Lake of The Woods, Virginia where she was an active member of the Lake of the Woods Church.
