Dennis enlisted in the United States Army in August 1966 and subsequently transferred to the United States Air Force Reserve and then the Virginia Air National Guard for a total of 27 years in service to his country. Dennis loved visiting his daughter and grandkids in Colorado and spent the last couple of summers there with the kids, watching his granddaughter become a paramedic and marry Luke. He also went flying with his namesake, Rayannon. While in Colorado, Dennis made many friends at Skippy’s and brought numerous vehicles to the state for Ryan and Jayden to repair.
Chatting with Jimmy over coffee, playing cards with Tammy and Kenney, as well as keeping Lulu the cat entertained all brought so much joy to his life.
