Charles C. Eggleston, 77 of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on May 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Eggleston; son, Charles E. Eggleston; an infant child, Ann Josephine; two grandsons; his parents; and his brother, Paul.
Charles was a beloved family man who made sure his family knew he loved them. He served his country and retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. Later he retired from Sentara Hospital in Williamsburg as a C.T. Technologist. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, travel, and being the best “pop pop” / ”poppie” ever.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Camilla (Millie); sons, Shawn Eggleston (Heather) and Johnny Crow; daughters, Colleen Sticken (Jon) Kathleen Raska (David) and Michelle Smith (Ronnie); eleven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, 3287 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA.
