Bruce was a decorated Army helicopter pilot who went on to be a commercial airline pilot, retiring after a 37 year career. He enjoyed spending time with family, driving his Porsches, meeting up at Porsche club of America events, and enjoying time with great company at the Frothy Moon. Bruce was a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan who also enjoyed watching Formula 1 and sports car racing.
He is survived by his wife, Cathryn Hunter; his son, Alexander Hunter and future daughter in law, Gloria Masterton; his sisters, Stephanie Brown (husband Chip) and Gabrielle Turner; his close cousin, Sylvia Stephens; and grand puppy, Rosie Hunter. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Hunter; parents, Robert and Johanna Hunter; brother-in-law, Howard Turner; and many close friends gone too soon.
Bruce did not wish to have services. However, a celebration of life will be held on what would have been his 70th birthday for close friends and family. He will forever be missed.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.NelsenWilliamsburg.com for the Hunter family.
