Brian had two careers in his life that he loved. He was a police officer and Detective for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department from 1980 to 2005. In 2006 he joined Jamestown High School as a security officer until his retirement in 2019.
Brian loved spending time with his family, telling stories, and making people laugh. He also enjoyed running, biking, and walking his dog on the Capital Trail. He remained a loyal friend to many in the close-knit Metro family and Jamestown family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sharp; sons, Billy (Kelsey) and Jimmy and daughters, Kathy and Emily.
A service will be taking place at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Virginia with a reception to follow.
