Betty Jane Haden Haskell

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA, on Saturday, April 26, at 11am.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Williamsburg. She enjoyed many years as a group sales manager at the Patrick Henry Inn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter “Lani” Haskell; her parents, Hugh and Elva Haden; and a brother, Richard Harden.

Surviving family includes a brother and his wife, Myrt and Gail Abbott Haden; and a nephew, Bradley Haden, all of Front Royal, VA.

Betty was a caring person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She often opened her home providing many a place to stay - some of her favorites were exchange students from William & Mary. Betty loved animals and always had several dogs and cats at the same time. Her cat “Tiger” was with her to the end.
