Barbara Claire Norton, of Williamsburg, Virginia died on Monday, August 14, 2016 at the age of 81. She graduated from Syracuse University in 1957.

She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Norton; son, David Norton (wife, Darci); daughter, Natalie Norton; and three grandchildren.

She was a self-employed owner of a retail/sales business and was also a dedicated homemaker.

A private service will be held at a later date.
