Thurl D Stover

Thurl D. Stover (66) of Willard died peacefully at his home, Sunday, September 2, 2012. He was born February 22, 1946 in Willard to the late Ed G. and Alma (Pittinger) Stover. Thurl was an over the road truck driver and enjoyed seeing our county. He also owned and operated Photography by Thurl.

Thurl was a past member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Willard Moose Lodge and was a loving and caring person to not only everyone one he met but to animals as well. He had a passion for photography, working outside and aviation including flying with his son Brandon.

Thurl is survived by his son: Brandon D. Stover of Willard and his friend Lori Walton of Marion; Sister: Delores Killingsworth of Va and her children and special friend: Jane Smith of Plymouth. He was formerly married to Donna (Poland) Stover.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard with Rev. Roger Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huron County Humane Society through the funeral home.
