Lee Arthur Wolfe

Passed away Sept. 26, 2016 in Davenport, WA his home Wilbur, WA. He was born on Oct 8, 1924 in Wilbur, WA to Arthur and Blanche Cox Wolfe, he grew up on the family farm and attended school in Wilbur graduating in 1942 from Wilbur High School. He married Ethel Sterett on June 17, 1947 in Davenport, WA and they returned to the family farm where they farmed and raised Horned Hereford cattle. Lee is a member of the Wilbur Presbyterian Church, American Hereford Assoc., WA Cattleman’s Assoc., W.A.W.G, and former Sherman Grange member. Lee loved working with cattle, loved horses and riding the canyons, showing cattle and watching his children and grandchildren show cattle. Lee is survived by his wife of 69 yrs. Ethel at the home, two sons Gale (and Cindy) Wolfe and Lyn (and Bonnie) Wolfe along with three grandchildren Becky Wolfe-Thomas (Brandon), Philip Wolfe (Stacy) and Nicole Wolfe and six great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Homer and a sister Leta. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Wilbur Presbyterian Church.
