Cooper, Wilma “Kay”, 88, Boeing retiree and devout Christian, passed away Sunday September 30, 2012. Viewing is Wednesday 3 to 8 pm with family receiving friends 7 to 8 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial service is Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1451 E. 47th St. South, Wichita, KS. Burial service will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Wilma was preceded in death by husband, Bert E. Cooper; sister Florence Schweer, and step-daughter Linda Sims. Wilma is survived by step-son and wife, Richard and Krista of Wichita, KS; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Phil Chapman; 2 nieces and 2 nephews and many, many friends. Wilma was employed by Boeing for about 40 years and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
