Johnson, William (Bill) Earl, 77, passed away Thursday evening April 9, 2014. Bill was the only child of Troy and Sybil Johnson. He was born in Ozark, Arkansas on November 30, 1936. Bill served in the U.S. Air National Guard. As a teen, he moved with his family to Wichita where he was a loyal West High "Pioneer" and football standout. He was employed in the grocery business for most of his career at Bleier's IGA and Dillon's. Bill loved to fish and was a huge fan of WSU Shocker Basketball. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty and son, Steve. He is survived by his sons Jeff (Kendra), Brian (Sabrina) and nine grandchildren. Services will be at Resthaven Mortuary on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
