Von E. Eastman Eulert

Eulert, Von E., 90, born in March 1, 1920 in Matfield Green, Kansas. Passed away September 3, 2010. She is preceded in death by husband Arnold Eulert and her son Mark Eulert. She is survived by daughter-in-law Laura Klobuchar Eulert; sister Jean (Doyle) Powell; granddaughter Ashlie (Josh) Duft; great grandchildren Clayton, Casey, and Colter Duft. She spent a lifetime of dedication to providing Braille transcription services. As a result, she received many awards including: the Red Cross Lifetime Achievement Award, Red Cross Hall of Fame Award, National Braille Association Award, U.S. President’s Volunteer Action Award, American Heroine Award, Ladies Home Journal Award, First Citizen Award, and JC Penney Golden Rule Award. Memorials have been established with National Braille Association, Inc. and Trinity Lutheran Church. Services will be held at 11:30 Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
