Vivian Mary Patterson

Patterson, Vivian (Champ), 97, was born May 23, 1913 at the family homestead near Goddard, Kansas, died Dec. 31, 2010. Viewing Tues. 8am-8pm, Wed 8am-5pm at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Rosary, 7pm, Wed. Jan. 5, Funeral Mass 11am, Thurs. Jan. 6 both at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Vivian was a retired Montgomery Ward Department Store sales associate. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Vernon ( know as Pat), sons Gene, Bill and grandson Bryan Patterson, her parents Elmer and Bessie Champ, her brothers Marvin and John Champ, sister Virginia Archibald and son-in-law Ted Peltzer. Vivian is survived by her daughter Linda Peltzer of Wichita and son Steve (Chris) of Brandon, Miss, sisters Cleo Marble of Wichita, Gloria Deeble of Arlington Heights, IL and sister-in-law Mary (Patterson) Everitt of Montrose, Co. Also surviving her are twelve beloved grandchildren and sixteen precious great-grandchildren. A memorial is established with her most loved church St. Joseph Catholic Church, 132 S.
