Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Bridge Specialist in the 1438th Engineer Flight Bridge Company. He embarked on a successful career at Cessna, where he excelled as a skilled field and flight mechanic. Following his time at Cessna, he established a thriving business as an interior and exterior painter, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his craft.
In his free time, Thomas enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, cheering on his beloved Chicago Bulls, watching classic Western movies, and bowling.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Beverly Jean Garcia; his daughters, Mary Garcia and Cheryl Farris; his grandchildren, Curtis Simmons, Brittany Garcia-Jonker, and Katlin Garcia-Jonker; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Odesza Spencer, Embyr TaTe, and Remmi Nienstedt.
A private memorial service will be held to honor his life.
