Thomas Alan "Tom" Darland, age 51, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Tom was born April 1, 1964 in Wichita, KS the son of Frank and Dolores (Duryee) Darland. On October 12, 2001, he married Paula Cristina Vieira in Wichita, KS. Survivors include: his wife, Paula; sons, Joshua and Andrew, all of the home; mother, Dolores Darland, Wichita; brothers, Mark (Shari) Darland, Clearwater, Mike (Lynnette) Darland, Wichita; nieces and nephews, David, Crystal, Courtney, Tyler, Chad, Matt, Jeff, and Alex. Preceded in death by his father, Frank; grandparents, Floyd & Blanche Duryee and Zeke & Dora Darland; mother-in-law, Margarida Vieira. Visitation 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th Street, Wichita; rosary 7 p.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 S. Millwood; funeral mass 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Road, Wichita. Memorials have been established with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 4200 N. Old Lawrence Road, Wichita, KS 67219 and Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.
