Theresa M. (Brown) Luethye

Following her high school graduation she eloped to marry the love of her life, Harold Luethye on February 14, 1943. She followed Harold around the country for his Army Air Corp basic training before he shipped out to Guam for WWII.

She loved to craft and paint. Theresa was instrumental in the quilt and prayer shawl ministries at East Heights United Methodist Church in Wichita, KS.

Theresa is survived by; daughter Karen Smit (David); grandchildren Ian Smit, Brian Smit, Larissa Arnold (Thomas), Jason Luethye, Brandon Luethye, Aimee Depenbrock (Klaus); great grandchildren Liam, Ben, Jonah, Wesley, Neil, Sebastian, Christopher, and Amelia.

Theresa was preceded in death by; loving husband of 78 years Harold Luethye; son Mike Luethye and daughter-in-law Michaela Luethye; father Clement Brown and mother Lelia Brown; sister Mary York.

A private family visitation for Theresa will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, WICHITA, KS 67206. Following the private family visitation will be a burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
