Susan A. Knisley

Knisley, Susan A., 61, of Rose Hill, Kansas passed away on Monday July 24, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Susan was born the daughter of Rolla and Ursa Taylor on September 6, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. Susan and Howard Knisley were united in marriage on July 17, 1971 in Maize, Kansas. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage. Susan worked for the Rose Hill School District in transportation for 25 years and managed Joyland Skate Center for 10 years. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Kelsey Taber Reed. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard Knisley of Rose Hill, children, Janice (Raymond) Long of Texas, Annette (Paul) Zimmerman of Wichita, Jason (Anita) Knisley of Seattle, WA, Nathan (Amie) Knisley of Douglass, KS, 6 siblings, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday July 27, 2017 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery in Douglass, Kansas.
