Sue May

51, passed away August 28, 2016. Sue was born November 6, 1964 in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from St. Francis High School. Sue, a registered nurse for 28 years, spent the last 15 years as an elementary school nurse in Goddard, KS, where she loved each and every student who came through. She was extraordinarily creative. She loved to paint, craft, and scrapbook always paying special attention to detail. Sue visited Colorado with family and friends throughout the years where she enjoyed white water rafting, 4-wheeling and watching her family ski. Sue loved being with her dog, Twinkle, at her snowman decorated home. She spent many days and weekends supporting her children who participated in hockey and dance. Sue is survived by her husband, Brett, children, Mackenzy "Mac" and Madison; parents, Robert and Elaine Owens; brothers, Patrick (Gladys) and Edward (Coralie); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her USD #265 school family. There will be a visitation from 2-5 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. The Funeral is 10:30 am Friday, September 2, 2016 at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita, Kansas. A memorial has been established for Mac and Madison's continuing education fund, checks may be payable to Brett May.
