Scott, Stuart L. “Scotty”, 82, of Leoti, KS passed away peacefully on Sun. Dec. 28, 2014 in Wichita. Scotty was born on Oct. 16, 1932 in Scott City, KS the son of Chester and Wilma Scott. Stuart and Jacque Scott were united in marriage on Jan. 28, 1957 in Marienthal, KS. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Scotty served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Howard Scott and daughter, Erika Scott. Survivors include his loving wife Jacque Scott of Leoti, brother, Norman Scott of Scott City, KS, sisters, Evelyn McQuitty of Kansas City, Jodi (Rus) Ceretti of California, sons, Dan (Gina) Scott of Manhattan, KS, Michael (Jami) Scott of Wichita, grandchildren, Katie and James Scott and Christina Scott. Memorial services for Scotty will be held at 2pm on Sat. Jan. 3, 2015 at Homestead Assisted Living, 1611 Fairway Dr., Augusta, KS.
