Steve was born May 14th, 1957, to Kenneth Headley and Wanda Adamson in Wichita, Kansas.
Steve had a passion for music and playing the guitar. He enjoyed playing in Boeing’s Jazz Band, Midstates, Shakers, Stray Bombers, Midnight Rose, Chaser, Safe Sax, Twist of Fate and The Mobb.
He cared for a multitude of pets over the years and often cared for any animals that hung out outside the house as well. He loved being a granddad, and called his grandkids his “little turkeys”.
Steve is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Headley; mother, Wanda Adamson; wife, Pamela Headley; and step-daughter, Heather Batson.
He is survived by his son, Luke (Traci) Headley; grandchildren: Benjamin, Allison and Claire Headley, all of Wichita; his sister, Sheryl (Mike) Mitchell of Wichita; brother, David Headley of Kansas City; and "brother from another mutha," Frank (Vicki) Baker of Wichita.
A memorial service will be held 10 am Monday, November 20th with burial to follow all occurring at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas, 67209.
