Steve proudly served in The United States Navy and retired from Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems. He enjoyed photography, playing the drums and any and all animals. He loved football, spending time at the lake and fixing things.
Steve is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Offutt and his parents, James and Vera Offutt.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Stefanie (Brendan) Cox; his son, Michael (Lindsy) Offutt; grandchildren: Morgan (Ben) Markley, Garrett Cox, Tyler Offutt, and Conner Offutt; his sister, Hettie Offutt; brothers, Dennis Offutt and Chris (Kim) Offutt; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Steve will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary.
Memorials have been established in Steve's honor at The Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219.
