Steve was a retired Sedgwick County Firefighter and Owner/Operator of, Beard & Son Concrete. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 48 years, Deloris Ann Beard; and sister, Cynthia Kay Beard.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Courtney (Tom) Hieger; son, Dylan Beard; brother, Ronnie (Diana) Beard; grandchildren, Cole, Lauren and Olivia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Steve will be held 1:00pm, Friday, March 11, 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Burial will take place following the service at Resthaven Cemetery in the Garden of Freedom.
