Brooks, Sierra, 11, Augusta Middle School student passed away December 7, 2011. Sierra was preceded in death by her grandma Sharon Dixon and grandpa David Dixon. Survivors are father Jeff Brooks and partner Jan Mead of Wichita; mother Nina Brooks and husband Tim Gray of Augusta; brothers Cody Brooks, Seoul Peterson and Deyton Peterson; step-brothers Skyler Gray, Donovan Gray, Kody Gray all of Augusta; grandparents Jessica Dixon of Wichita, Carol Brooks of Rose Hill, John (Donna) Brooks of Wichita; aunt Jennifer (Jerry) Peterson of Rose Hill, aunt Norma Dixon of Wichita and great aunt Sandy (Rick) Medley of Wichita. Visitation is 6 to 8 pm Monday and memorial service is 3:00 pm Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to Ronald McDonald House.
