Being a licensed healthcare professional, she used her calling, passion, and skills to care for the sick at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Specifically, pediatrics, and OB/GYN with Dr. Barba. Her commitment carried out through retirement purposefully as an advocate for dear friends and family.
After attending her first quilt guild meeting in Dallas, Texas, Sharyn developed a deep love for quilting. She made many quilts, all hand pieced. Besides quilting, she was a die hard Nebraska Husker fan and member of the Cornhusker Football Club.
Sharyn was very proud of her family, was a military wife, a devoted Christ follower, and attended Bible Study Fellowship throughout the years.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Earnest and Marjorie Fees; husband, Donald; brothers, Robert and Gary; and sister, Nancy and those left to cherish her memory are: daughter, Donna; sons, Scott and James; as well as grandchildren: Somer, Ricky, Kortni, Joe, Zach, Sam; and great-granddaughter, Izzy.
A funeral service for Sharyn will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM followed by a graveside service. Both at Resthaven Mortuary and Resthaven Gardens of Memory, the Garden of Prayer, 11800 W. Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas, 67209.
