Sandra "Sandy" Kay Valko

Sandra “Sandy” Kay Valko, 61, passed away April 13, 2012. She was the daughter of Rev. James and Juanita (Farrell) Carter. Sandy was employed with Federal Court House then for the last 20 years worked at The Wichita Clinic as a Transcription Manager. Sandy loved her Arkansas home with husband John of twenty years. She was an avid gardener, cook, and enjoyed playing games and was a wonderful sister, and friend to all who knew her. Survivors include mother; Juanita Carter, husband; John Valko, son; Kevin Heath Morris, daughter; Ladonda Morris stepsons; Curtis Valko, Derek Valko, , brother; Kenneth Gazzaway, sisters; Wanda Hendrix, Joleen Luther, five grandchildren; a great grandchild. Memorial Service will be held 2p.m. April 28, 2012 at Hillside Funeral Home East. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to American Lung Association.
